I am so appreciative of HNA and their goal to give the highest reimbursement for the patients they send to you. Choosing to work with this company, will save you from the large credentialing fees that other companies have.

“We appreciate how Healthcare Networks of America doesn't take a percentage of our reimbursement like all the other networks do. Their small, annual credentialing fee is a much better way to go plus I have access to so many networks which helps our patients! Thank you!”

Got Questions?
We've Got Answers

How will I know when a patient comes from HNA?

You will not see HNA’s name on the patient’s insurance card or on the EOB. You will see the name of the PPO's that HNA has contracted you with on the EOB.

Can you tell me how many patients HNA has in my geographic region?

While HNA is not given this information by our payor clients, HNA is given its payor client’s patient counts nationally which include over 20 million patients nationwide who are distributed proportionately throughout the country.

Can HNA guarantee that I will see more patients?

HNA can guarantee that you will be listed as an “in-network” provider on over 4,500 health plans nationally accessing over 20 million patients. HNA cannot guarantee how many patients will select you as their doctor.

How much revenue has HNA generated for its doctors and providers?

While HNA is not provided ongoing utilization reports by all of its payor clients, we have documented millions of dollars of payments to our doctors per year with many individual doctors earning between $25,000-$1,500,000 of annual revenue from our contracts.

Is HNA an insurance company?

HNA is not an insurance company. HNA is a national network of healthcare providers who contract with insurance companies, large employer groups, government entities and union plans.

Why does HNA charge a credentialing fee?

Most networks like HNA take a percentage of your reimbursement to cover their costs and profits. HNA does NOT take any percentage of the reimbursement and passes 100% of the reimbursement to the doctor. We think doctor’s don’t get paid enough and have discounted their fees too much. So, instead of reducing your reimbursement even more, HNA covers its costs and profit with a small annual credentialing fee. This allows HNA to maintain a high quality credentialed network of doctors that are attractive to health plans.

What is the ROI on paying a credentialing fee?

If a HNA doctor sees one patient per year, they get their money back. The fee is equivalent to the cost of one night of dining out while giving the opportunity of thousands of dollars in annual revenue.

What is the advantage of being an “in-network” provider?

Patients generally select their doctors from the “in-network” list of providers. If doctors are not listed on the provider panel as “in-network", patients are financially dis-incentivized to select the doctor.

I don’t recognize a lot of the names on the HNA Health Plan list. Why is this?

The highest reimbursement contracts for doctors are employer-sponsored and union health plans. Those health plans are administered by Third-Party Administrators who select the PPO network that will service the employees of the large employer. Many of the names on our health plan list are the names of the Third-Party Administrators who manage the health plan for the large employer and union.

What is a payor?

A payor is any company that is responsible to “pay” the doctor’s bill. They include insurance companies, employer-sponsored health plans, union plans, and government entities.

What is an “Employer-Sponsored Health Plan”?

This is a health care plan where a large employer acts like its own insurance company. These are also called “Self-funded plans”. Employers have the legal right to offer their own health care plans to their employees. They often do this because they can save money on their healthcare costs because they do not have to pay the higher premiums of the insurance company that include profits. Because of this, the employer can pay doctors higher reimbursement rates and offer more lucrative benefits to their employees.

HNA AI Roundtable · For physician owners

How private practices are actually using Claude.

A peer discussion for physician owners on how practices are using Claude today. Moderated by Jeremy Veatch, with Ahsan Jameel of Decision Current on how practices are integrating Claude with HIPAA in place.

Why this roundtable

The most useful answers about Claude come from your peers.

Vendors describe what AI could do. Physician owners need to hear how Claude is actually being used, what it took to set up, and where it has fallen short.

This roundtable puts those conversations in one room: real examples from practices, then an open discussion among physician owners working through the same decisions.

What you get

Four things to take back to your practice.

Where practices use Claude

Hear from peers about where practices are putting Claude to work today, and what they are leaving alone.

Claude with HIPAA in place

Ahsan Jameel walks through how practices are integrating Claude with HIPAA in place, from first questions to everyday use.

The questions to ask first

How to know if your practice is ready, who should make the decision, and what to avoid.

Peers, not a pitch

Compare notes with other physician owners. The point is to share what is working and what is not.

What we will cover

Five topics, then a peer discussion.

Ahsan Jameel of Decision Current opens with how practices are integrating Claude with HIPAA in place. Jeremy Veatch then moderates an open discussion on how practices are using Claude.

01

Three questions you need to ask

The questions every practice should answer before bringing Claude in, and why each one matters for HIPAA.

02

How to know if your practice is ready

What readiness looks like across your people, processes, and patient data, and what to put in place first if you are not there yet.

03

Who should make the decision

Which roles should own the decision, who needs a say, and how to keep clinical, compliance, and administrative leaders aligned.

04

How to implement and use it

Getting Claude’s HIPAA-ready offering set up, bringing staff on board, and putting it to work in everyday practice tasks.

05

What to avoid

The missteps that create risk or waste money, from skipping steps in the setup to rolling it out without clear rules for staff.

Then

Peer discussion

How are other practices using Claude, and what is working? Share what your practice is doing, ask what you have been wondering, and hear from physician owners facing the same decisions. This is a conversation, not a sales pitch.
