In 1993, HNA was formed to organize healthcare providers into national networks for the purpose of negotiating high reimbursement fee-for-service contracts with insurance carriers, PPO's and other healthplan payers. As of 2008, HNA has successfully built a provider organization of over 17,000 healthcare professionals located in 50 states.
