Solving Compliance Woes

Written by  Sherry Krueger

Patient care.  Who’s got time for it anymore with all of the focus and worry about compliance, skyrocketing costs, shrinking reimbursements and managing office personnel?  Let’s face it, healthcare is a tough business these days and you need help to do it right.

One area that no office can shove to the wayside is compliance and training, and the traditional way to meet the demands of these functions has been to take time away from patient care in order to train a new hire or to meet compliance standards.  But here’s a novel concept:  outsource it and let your employees learn online at a time convenient for their schedules.

That’s where Total Compliance Solutions (or TCS) comes in.  TCS provides compliance/accreditation plans, tools and training for healthcare; they are literally your online resource for all things documented and accredited.

Here’s just a sampling of what TCS can provide:

  • OSHA compliance training
  • HIPPA compliance training
  • Medical compliance training
  • Online CME’s
  • CEU Credits
  • Medical office training

Maybe the skeptic in you is saying, “online training is great, but I still have to track and document all of my employees and keep a handle on who has (and hasn’t) completed their training.”  Not so with TCS!  TCS’s web-based training solutions give you the tracking capabilities to know when, and on what, each of your employees has been trained.  Not to mention the fact that they will save ream after ream of paper by allowing you to store all training materials, policies, procedures, and certificates relevant to you and your staff online.

Let the ramifications of that sink in for a moment.  Your next accreditation visit will be a breeze when you can easily and quickly print all compliance and training documents for your staff-documents that have been tracked for you by your friends at TCS.  And what about litigation where you are required to provide documentation of your policies and procedures and training relevant to each?  Not a problem with the aid of TCS.

Hmmm, sounds like TCS could just as easily stand for Total Common Sense.  If it makes your life easier, your patients more of a priority and frees your staff from unproductive training time, shouldn’t you be taking a look?
